Training and Development

The Housing Bank pays special attention to the training and development of its employees with the aim of providing qualified human cadres trained in the best local and international practices in the banking arena and arming its employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide services with high quality that enable them to face competition in the local and regional banking environment.

The Housing Bank’s Training and Development Philosophy:
  • Our philosophy is designed to foster a work environment conducive to learning and innovation. It aims to bolster the growth of both individual capabilities and organizational competencies.
  • Delivering qualified human cadres to navigate developments in the banking industry and secure a competitive edge through exceptional training. This is rooted in the belief that training is an investment in human capital rather than a cost.
  • Equipping employees with the necessary skills, knowledge, and attitudes to address performance gaps, measured against desired performance levels.
  • Enhancing employees’ skills to aid in refining work procedures, thereby reducing operating costs, boosting productivity, and enhancing operational efficiency.

The Housing Bank strives to fulfill the training needs of its employees through several available means, through various means, including hosting internal training courses, and sending numerous employees to participate organized by local training institutes, in addition to participating in conferences and courses organized outside Palestine by well-known Arab and foreign consulting and training bodies and bodies. In addition to qualifying employees to obtain specialized professional certificates according to the requirements and standards issued by regulatory and international bodies.

The Housing Bank also adopted a policy of teaching the English language to its employees with the aim of developing their linguistic abilities it enhance communications with international clients and keep them informed about the developments in the banking industry. A policy of developing personal computer skills was also adopted as a contribution from the bank to creating an electronic environment for it. The bank has also adopted several local and international educational electronic platforms targeting the entire bank staff and/or specialized and vital categories in the bank with the aim of continuing the training process and enhancing skills within various and advance skills on a variety of specialized topics.

In addition to the above, the Housing Bank has adopted a policy of developing the academic and professional qualifications of its employees aiming to elevate their academic, professional, and technical standings while broadening their understanding of both theoretical and practical banking sciences. This initiative also aims to supply the bank with professionals from various academic and career disciplines that meet operational needs across different sectors and aid in the refinement of methods and bank’s work procedures.
